UFC 114 and UFC 115 Fight Cards

April 29, 2010

Last week Goran Reljic’s confirmation on the UFC 116 fight card overshadowed two UFC fight nights that have yet to happen before then. First there’s UFC 114 and then there’s UFC 115.

UFC 114 takes place on May 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC 114 Main Card features two battles of the light heavyweights with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson facing Rashad Evans and a co-headlining match between Forrest Griffin and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. You’ll also see Michael Bisping fighting Dan Miller, Todd Duffee fighting Mike Russow, Diego Sanchez fighting John Hathaway.

There are also a half a dozen other fights on the preliminary card for UFC 114, namely Dong Hyun Kim vs. Amir Sadollah, Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon, Melvin Guillard vs. Thiago Tavares, Luiz Cane vs. Cyrille Diabate, Joe Brammer vs. Aaron Riley, and Jesse Forbes vs. Ryan Jensen.

Shortly after that, on June 12, UFC 115 will take place at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Headlining the main card at UFC 115 is Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell vs. former middleweight champ Rich Franklin. Also on the main card will be Mirko Cro Cop fighting Pat Barry, Paula Thiago fighting Martin Kampmann, Carlos Condit fighting Rory McDonald, and Tyson Griffin fighting Evan Dunham.

On the UFC 115 preliminary card is Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman, Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel, James Wilks vs. Peter Sobotta, and Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick.

Meanwhile, jumping back to the future again, the latest news on UFC 116 is that Nate Marquardt may be on the card with Alessio Sakara for that even on July 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas.
