Rugby Union 6 Nations Weekend Matches: Wales V France, Italy V Scotland, England V Ireland
On Friday, February 26 at 20:00 GMT, the next Rugby Union 6 Nations match will take place at Millennium Stadium between Wales V France. Players to watch out for on both sides are Lee Byrne for tries, and Stephen Jones for points and conversions on Wales’ side; and Mathieu Bastareaud for tries, and Morgan Parra for points and conversions.
Out of 84 games, Wales won 36, lost 46, and had 2 draws; while France won 58 and lost 26. In the 18 matches Wales and France have played against one another this season, Wales was a meager 6 and 12 to France’s more imposing 12 and 6. Interesting to note, though, is that it took France nearly double the number of tries to get just a few more conversions, and France received about as many extra penalties as conversions for all their trying.
On Saturday, February 27, the Rugby Union 6 Nations season continues with two matches: Italy V Scotland and England V Ireland. Italy and Scotland will be playing at 13:30 GMT at Stadio Flaminio in Italy. Ireland will head to Twickenham in England for a 16:00 GMT match.
The Rugby Union 6 Nations Championship has been a long standing rivalry crossing all six nations.
