Favored to win the Daytona 500 is Kyle Busch, running currently at 7/1. Nipping at his heels, though, is Tony Stewart at 8/1, and Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr., each at 9/1. Longshots are Paul Menard and Scott Speed at 100/1 each. Last year’s Daytona 500 winner was Matt Kenseth, although this year’s favorite, Kyle Busch, was leading in most of the race until Dale Earnhardt Jr. took him out in a multiple car crash toward the end of the race.

Leading up to the Daytona 500 is the Budweiser Shootout on February 6; the Gatorade Duel on February 11; and the NextEra Energy Resource 250 on February 12. All part of the Sprint Cup series, the next couple of weeks mark some of the greatest betting opportunities for NASCAR racing fans. And in July, the race car drivers in the Sprint Cup Series will return to the Daytona International Speedway for the Pepsi 400
