Another March Madness of NCAA is coming up fast. Just one month to Selection Sunday and the start of all the college basketball championship action.

Here’s how the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship schedule breaks down:

March 14 – Selection Sunday
March 16 – Opening Round
March 18 – 19 – Round 1
March 20 – 21 – Round 2
March 25 – 26 – Sweet 16
March 27 – 28 – Elite Eight
April 3 – Final Four

The big ones, the matches of all matches that all this March Madness is leading up to, all the national semi-finals, the NCAA 2010 Men’s Final Four and Women’s Final Four.

The 2010 NCAA Men’s Final Four takes place April 3 – 5 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the losing 2009 Super Bowl team, the Indianapolis Colts. The 2010 NCAA Women’s Final Four takes place April 4 – 6 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The 2009 Division I men’s college basketball NCAA champion was North Carolina.

And you’ll be able to track your bets on the 2010 NCAA Sweet 16, Elite Eight, and Final Four live as you watch the games on their official TV network partner CBS Sports.

On a side (but related) note, a major NCAA men’s hockey event is coming right up in the 2010 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four in Detroit, Michigan from April 8 – 10.

March Madness pits 65 college basketball teams against each other over the course of 3 weeks in March and April. It was the creation of Phog Allen, coach for Kansas, in 1939.
