2010 French Open

The 2010 French Open Tennis Tournament begins on May 23rd. One of the hardest grand slams will test the skills of the sports tennis players while they pursue success at Roland Garros.

Rafael Nadal is the man to watch as the player goes after the victory that was lost last year due to surgery. With wins on the court at Monte Carlo and Rome clue in that he should be working his way up and should grow into a powerful player come 2010. The most eagerly awaited match-up is between rivalries Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Federer is last years champion and a new win in the Australian Open suggest that it won’t be easy. Andy Murray and Juan del Porto are also trying to gain a title. Juan del Porto possesses skills and grand slam knowledge that could be just enough for the upset. Andy Murray is looking to progress increase his record in Paris.

Justine Henin is in her pioneer French Open, and wishing for a victory. Last year’s winner Svetlana Kuznetsoua, Serena Williams, and Kim Cijsters are just a few that Henin will have to due battle with. Kim Clijsters with a 2009 US Open win, and defeating Serena Williams in Miami at the 2010 Teri 1 Sony Ericcson Open. Serna Williams has only won two major matches this, one of them being at the Australian Open she is in no doubt a commanding player. Svetlana Kurnetsousa with last year’s French Open win and a US Open title form back in 2004 she is one intense player.
